BYU Wins Their First Conference Game Vs. Colorado State

Way to go Cougars!!! Gotta love it when the Cougs mess up big and then play big. We'll see if they can keep it up. With three touchdowns in the first quarter, and another few throughout the rest of the game with CSU scoring three touchdowns, BYU is doing well but needs to work on their defense, specifically executing a tackle. Also, give the other running back a chance Unga!!! Geez, no wonder you throw so many interceptions Hall! The other team knows exactly who it's going to! But there was an excellent play made by Hall in the first quarter, where he faked two hand-offs and ran the other way. He walked into the endzone untouched and no one was even close. That was an awesome play. In the same quarter a blocked punt gave BYU a perfect field position that pretty much lost CSU the game. Way to go Cougs! Just keep it up this time, please?

True Blue Football Night!

Covered in foam.
Dive! It was an actual rule. You had to dive, or you got kicked off the field. Cool, huh? No one's complaining here...
More super foamy divers.
Tons of blue foamy people!
And me. This was after walking around, so I lost a lot of my foam. I loved it! I had so much fun. Just don't get it in your eyes, mouth, nose, or ears. When you go down the huge slip and slide, you get covered by your own wave of foam and you slip right into a big puddle 4 feet deep. You can't be seen, and you have to keep your eyes and mouth shut until you can stand up and wipe it off, or you will taste it and have eye problems for a while. Trust me. It's not fun. But I did it again anyway!!! I love the activities and ideas BYU has compared to my High School. So much fun! Now, back to my paper. And my reading.

Mission Paper Initiation

Yup, you guessed it. I have officially started filling out my mission papers. In a about a month I hope to have them turned in, and about a month after that I hope to know when I leave and where I will be going. Finally about two months after that I will be gone!! I have been so excited and I can't wait to leave. I am in service to my God, and I will continue to do so. My Mission Prep class, my Book of Mormon class, and my Judaism class are all helping me to prepare. I love all of them. Great professors, great people. I can trust them and I can trust that through faith on His name I will be able to be a successful missionary in whatever context.

BYU Scores Big in Their Scrimmage Against Tulane

Need I say much more? BYU played a game against Tulane today, but it was seriously a freakin' scrimmage. A practice match. 54-3? What kind of a joke is that? I don't care. Go BYU!!! Way to kill 'em!! Texas won by a huge margin vs. Wyoming today, as well. Alabama and USC did the same. Way to go Top Twelve!!! BYU, keep up the streak! And the power! Thank you Kariya for steppin' up your game! And Diluigi! Way to be! I love seein' the 3rd and 4th string guys coming out. That's my favorite part. Go Cougars!

BYU vs Tulane

Here we go Cougars! Can we do it? 1:00 PM tomorrow afternoon Mountain Standard Time, Tulane takes on the Cougars. Can Tulane beat us? Of course they can, but that doesn't mean they may. Know what I mean? They WILL LOSE tomorrow. If BYU pulls a classic "Cougar-Folly" then I have no real reason to believe they are better than they've been before. I swear they do it every year. Remember the game against the Aggies last year? Ya, right. We should've lost that game. Anywho, Go Cougars! Let's up they keep up the good name this year and pull of Nationals. It would be perfect timing since I leave on my mission this coming January. BYU!

Yet Another Update

Just signing in to say thanks. Thank you Apple for your contribution to the world of technology. I love this new version of Itunes. It's almost like Divine Intervention. Almost everything I could've and would've changed regarding this piece of valuable software was just updated. It's pretty, it's smooth, it's fast, and it's absolutely perfect. Maybe it's because I was raised in a Apple-worshipping home, but regardless, it's fact. Apple is God's computer manufacturer. Amen.

Beachfront Get-Together

You have no idea how badly I want to be at the beach right now... Thanks so much family!! For making that night an absolute party! Paul, Sean, Mike, CJ, Mom, Dad, Shelby, Katie, Tersta, Sherman, Austin and Jared, Nana, Grandpa Lee, Nise... etc... Way to be!! And don't forget Raquel. :P

Gotta Show Our Stuff!

Here's a quick look at our ward and what we can do. We're a little weird, but we have a TON of fun!!! The first girl was Abby, the second guy was Brandon, and the third was Briggs. Yes, that's his name. Aren't we awesome? I think we have way too much fun here. ;) GO COUGS!

4 Mile Run-Maybe I Am a Morning Person

Mr. Tough biker dude was awesome! He biked all the way up to the Y!
There I am. At 7:30 this morning the BYU 12th ward left campus to hike the "Y". We started around 7:50 or so. I started to hike with my roomie, but ended up finding my pace faster than I anticipated. Especially so early in the morning. I didn't stop once until I finished running to the top. I spent some time up there, with the ward, then ran down. When I got to the bottom, I didn't want to wait for my ride, so I ran with a couple of girls all the way back to Helaman Halls. I then ran back to Kiwanis park for breakfast with the ward. It was crazy cool. 4 miles this morning, and I loved every minute of it. I don't know what was wrong with me, but it was a memory that will always be called upon. Go Cougars!!

Transformation Complete

The final poster went up in our dormroom tonight. The official BYU Football poster. It's not perfect, and my Graphic-Design Major for a room-mate agrees that it could've been done better. By us. ;) Who really cares!! Gotta love BYU football!!!

The View From my Dormroom Window

I love it!! I get an awesome view of Y Mountain. I love it here! I'll probably be saying the opposite as soon as I take my first Mid-term, but please pray for me and I have no doubt I'll do fine. Also, remember that the main reason I am attending college this semester (not the only reason) is to prepare for my mission. So please help to support me in that endeavor! My Heavenly Father has blessed me with a beautiful view of his creations to remind me of my purpose here. I hope he can do the same with all my friends and family. Thanks!!

Done!!

One side of the desk? DONE!
The other side? DONE DONE. Plus the sink area.
My bed. DONE DONE DONE. All my Star Wars Glory. Plus you'll see three Christ pictures posted around. My roommate, John, is borrowing one. So there's another over on his side. Also, soon, John and I will be splitting the costs of a BYU Poster to be placed in the middle of the room. A big BYU flag will also be posted somewhere. I'm moved in!! The only thing not done is the building of my Rogue Shadow Lego set. The ship of the secret apprentice of Lord Vader between Episodes 3 and 4 of Star Wars. Thank you George Lucas!!

Almost Finished!!

Sooo close!! I have almost everything put away except for my posters and wall stuff. Check the next post for the finishing touches...

Moving In

This is all my stuff strewn all over the place. Move in day is great isn't it? Love it!! Thanks Dad for the fashion statement. My roommate, John, can't get enough of it.
