Yankees vs. Rays #2

Well, at least they came back and erased that loss from the other day!! Yankees win against Rays while I'm here, and that's good. Of course, when the Carter family shows up to a game, bad luck wins out. Rarely does the team we cheer for actually win. :) Go Yanks!!

Yanks vs. Rays: A Disappointing Loss

Well, I just went to the Yankee's game and got some cool pics and some super sweet souvenirs, but, sadly, the Yankee's disappointed me. They lost to the Tampa Bay Rays 7-9. It was a sunny day, however, and that made the game all the more amazing!! I don't remember the last time I was at a major league baseball game. Any one remember taking me? Keep pushin' Yanks!

The Beginning of... Another Beginning

Well, what can I say more? The end is nigh, or so I've thought for 12 years. It may be the end of Preliminary School, but there's a heck of a lot more out there. But lets focus on the commencement at hand, eh? Finally, I graduate, with honors, from Lone Peak High School. No more school block, no more stupid teachers, no more immature idiots, no more stupid roommates, no more waiting for the shower, no more pranks, no more.... Oh wait, that's all college problems. I guess all I can really say is no more High School!!! Thanks to all of you who have supported me through the years, thanks to those who just watched (and laughed), and a special thank you goes to my parents first (and my sister), extended family second, and my best friends third. You all rock! And I'll miss you!

American Idol: America Shines Forth

Finally, something truly worth applauding (besides David Cook, of course, still my favorite). I do wish that Danny Gokey had won, but Kris was my next vote every time. Congratulations Kris!!! American Idol: Season 8, 2009 is now over and we wait to see what happens next...

Senior Prom 2009: The Time of Your Life

Hey!! These are a bunch of Prom pictures that I and a few others took last night, May 1st. I loved it! It was so much fun!! We went to Texas Roadhouse in Sandy for dinner. We then left for Salt Lake City and had fun finding parking to go walk Temple Square and then take a ride on the Horse-drawn Carriages. Finally, we headed up to the State Capitol building for the dance. Joy Laudie was my date, and she was absolutely stunning, as you'll see a little ways down the page. By the way, these pictures run backwards. All the pictures at Joy's house before we left are down at the bottom. Sorry!

I had to beg for this picture, but would you just look at her? It turned out perfectly.
This is Eric Seamons and Taylor Day. They are the couple that rode with us in my Dad's Nissan Altima that he so generously lent me for the night. I washed it from top to bottom, inside and out, and not one scratch. Boo-yah.

Here's the whole group. Six couples, and I still don't remember all their names. From right to left is Joy, (idk), Dustin, Eric, Taylor, (idk), Kendall, (idk), Caleb, and Blake and Cambri off screen. Texas Roadhouse was a really fun place to go; full of people, loud, with good food and just a great atmosphere. We had a blast!!

In this pic, Joy's father and older brother were both trying to get her to pose this way without smiling and ended up taking pictures of each other. It was so hard for Joy not to laugh. It was crazy!

I like this picture as well. We both have good smiles, and Jon (Joy's older brother) had somehow got the dog in the picture. The dog is now known as the "Prom Dog". Hehe, fun times.

I don't know why I'm making that face, but this is when I was putting Joy's Corsage on, and I think her mom, dad, or brother had said something that made me make a funny face.

I had so much fun last night!! I'll never forget it, and I hope you all agree with me when I say that Joy Laudie was and is absolutely beautiful. When she walked into the room and I saw her for the first time... oh man. I could hardly breathe. I don't know what I did to deserve such a perfect date for my Senior Prom, let alone one of my best friends. Joy, you're the best!!

Vanity: Fact or Fiction?

Well, I'm not quite as bad off as the Pillsbury Dough Boy, but we're quite similar in our aspirations. Last Monday, I signed up for Weight Watchers; for men, of course. I've lost 4 pounds in one week already, and am happy that I finally have something to calm the tornado that claims my stomach. I know, I know, some of you will laugh at me and ask me why I think I need this. Well, I have maintained a bad habit, thanks to my teenage metabolism (and hormones), for too long. The repercussions of said habit have begun to show themselves. So I am taking a stand and changing habits before I go overboard. Just thought all of you should know. :)

Nigh at Hand

My twelfth school year is coming to a close!!! That means spring break, no homework, graduation, and, of course, Prom. I asked my gorgeous lady friend to Prom today! Hopefully she doesn't say no, considering that today is April Fools... :)
